Areas of expertise
Nanoparticles
Pro for nano is currently offering silver and copper nanoparticles in various sizes and carrier liquids. These nanomaterials are frequently used to formulate antimicrobial and antiviral coatings. Likewise, these materials can be used to formulate conductive inks for printed electronics. In the long term the company is planning to expand its nanoparticle portfolio to gold, platinum and other materials for green hydrogen production.
In-can biocides
We supply an in-can preservation technology to prevent acrylic binders from bacterial or fungal contaminations. The in-can biocides contain environmental and naturally sourced ingredients that are gentle to skin and environment. The technology has been tested according to the ASTM D4783 01 (2013) standard to be effective against bacterial and fungal contaminations.
Anti-pathogen surface coatings
Pro for nano produces surface spray coatings to prevent viral, bacterial and fungal pathogen spread. It has been demonstrated to be 99.99% effective against a broad range of bacteria, fungi and viruses. The coating can be used for solid surfaces or textiles. Technology development
The company continuously develops its proprietary nanomaterial production technology. The production process is environmental, sustainable and economic. It can be used to produce a variety of nanoparticles including Ag, Cu, Pt, Au and other materials. Likewise, Pro for nano cooperates with its international partners to build a micrometre-thickness liquid sheet target system to be used with the advanced X-ray light source.
R&D projects
Pro for nano participates in the Europe Horizon funded projects to develop its products. It is also continuously seeking new project opportunities and partnerships. Currently the company is working with anti-pathogen coatings and develops nanoparticle production technology. We are also extending our field of interest to green hydrogen production and printed electronics through international collaborations.
